Welcome to The Accordionist
What is The Accordionist ?
The accoridonist is an online music academy where you can learn different musical subjects. We mainly teach accordion, but also other complementary subjects such as music theory, musical language, harmony, or music analysis. From anywhere in the world and in different languages.
Why The Accordionist?
The Accoridonist Music Academy was born out of the need to expand and facilitate quality accordion learning from professional accordionists. From places where the presence of our instrument is practically non-existent, to students who want to learn at their own pace. So that everyone can learn when and where they want. To democratise accordion learning. To fulfil this mission, we offer you to choose when you want to have the lessons and learn online from the comfort of your own home. We offer lessons in English, Italian, Spanish, German and Basque.
How can i take lessons?
We have different programmes to suit your needs. From single classes of half an hour, 45 or 60 minutes, to subscriptions of 3 or 6 months where you can choose the number of classes and the duration you want to receive them.
For example, if you book a 6 month subscription of half hour classes twice a month, that means you have a total of 12 half hour classes that you can actually choose when to do them.
Our values
The Accordionist is not only a project of online accordion lessons, but an academy with a soul, with events that go beyond. Such as music theory classes, accordion masterclasses with renowned accordionists, or annual face-to-face meetings with intensive lessons and concerts.
The aim of the Academy is to bring together accordionists from all over the world, from beginners to professionals. You will have the opportunity to learn from different teachers, not only through solo accordion classes, but also chamber music with other instruments, and classes on the history of the accordion and its repertoire. Of course in all styles, from traditional music from different parts of the world, through original music for accordion, to classical music.
